SUMMARY

This position will sit in the Global Partnerships department reporting to the Director, Business Operations & Insights. This role will be heavily focused on improving our organization by using data to drive key business decisions, identify opportunities for efficiency and support process improvement. This will include working with cross-functional leaders and managers on developing internal capabilities and establishing department needs for business tracking dashboards while coordinating with different internal (Partnerships, BI, & Marketing, among others) and external (vendors) teams. You will report on key business measures, delivering insights, developing data visualizations, and presenting data in a concise and consumable manner among other responsibilities and projects.

 

The Manager, Partnership & CRM Insights will guide the Global Partnerships department’s evolution into a leading analytics minded sales and service organization.  This role will evangelize and champion the value of a data-driven approach and decision-making model, educating the department on how it can positively impact our ability to drive business objectives, generate revenue and give us a competitive advantage.  This position with support, the global partnerships department providing unique insights about our brands/customers and those of our partners, to empower impactful storytelling throughout the sales cycle.

 

The Manager is responsible for co-leading the research, measurement, reporting and consumer insights strategy for the Global Partnerships department. This individual will serve as a trusted resource for department leadership to define sales/renewal processes within CRM, steward priority projects, value inventory and manage dashboard and revenue reporting accuracy.  The position will collaborate with the Partnership Marketing team to establish KPIs, measure return on objective and benchmark success with all partners.  For business development, the Manager will play an essential role in improving CRM utility & adoption.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Fuel partnership storytelling efforts and enable powerful, data-led narratives to live across all sales materials (one-sheets, decks, case studies, recaps, sizzle videos, etc.)
  • Develop and build sponsor tracking dashboard to support breakthrough, 360-degree marketing platforms for internal teams and clients
  • Guide inventory & rate card evaluation, pricing methodology, P&L processes and tracking/reporting across all partnership asset types, sharing actionable recommendations as appropriate
  • Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to create new and improved CRM functionality that increase utility and adoption (i.e. revenue dashboards, pipeline reports, historical data)
  • Partner and liaise with Business intelligence team on the department needs for revenue and pipeline dashboards in salesforce/tableau to ensure accurate tracking towards partnership revenue goals
  • Track and measure social media performance by working through social media platforms such as Conviva and others to provide recommendations to our current and prospective partners
  • Work with our PR team and their vendors, for example Cision and Meltwater, to track and measure key stories and publicity surrounding current partners and BSE Global
  • Manage a portfolio of third-party vendor relationships that provide the tools/capabilities to fulfill against all department research needs, and ensure we optimize utilization of each
  • Assist in the strategy and implementation of the Partnership measurement & recap process, highlighted by establishing return on objective (ROO) tracking and reporting dashboards
  • Join internal and client meetings to highlight data driven messaging and contextualize insights
  • Organize and translate findings from our data warehouse and other data sources into client facing reports & insights
  • Oversee the execution and prioritization queue of all research needs for partners and prospects
  • Serve as a subject area expert, mining for ideas & learnings that can improve our capabilities and identify “white space” opportunities for business/revenue growth
  • Special ad hoc projects as needed

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • 4+ years of professional experience working in sponsorship, agency, marketing or advertising, roles with a specialization around strategy, research, consumer insights and/or analytics
  • Experience working for/with a Revenue generating group (i.e. sponsorship, ticket sales, ad sales) and at a Sports, Entertainment or Media company is a strong plus
  • Experience creating and automating reports and dashboards and working with enterprise data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Skilled at working with internal proprietary data, CRM, and/or external reporting systems such as Relo, YouGov, Salesforce, Conviva, Nielsen, Placer Ai, SponsorUnited
  • Bachelor's degree is required

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

May be required to travel on rare occasions (<5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

 

SALARY RANGE

$65,000 - $80,000

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
