Who are we hiring?
The Director Events will play a dual function role of developing and executing key events for the company as well as serving as a key leader on the events team. For Events, the Director will be responsible for the entire planning process of events assigned to them including working with business partners to conceptualize the event, creating the budget, ensuring creative ideas are being worked in to represent the brand and managing the event team and on-site staff during the execution of the event. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for event budget and maintaining cost efficiencies. The Director conducts proper post-event analysis and gathers feedback from the applicable business unit to determine best practices and improve processes year-over-year. The Director will be responsible for managing multiple events at a time and ensuring that the event progresses and meets deadlines.

What will you do?

· Responsible for the oversight of a wide range of corporate, fan and ticket member events.

· Responsible for ensuring that the event goals and strategy are aligned to business needs.

· Responsible for creating avenues to gather post-event feedback to determine best practices and improve processes year-over-year.

· Ensure all department documents are kept up-to-date and are exhaustive with detail

· Responsible for creating event objectives, budget parameters and creative event scenarios that deliver against stated objectives.

· Develop detailed, exhaustive event plans for each event, including budget, attendees, theme, purpose, logistics, layout, security, menu, décor, etc.

· Manage the development and execution of event contracts.


What do you need to succeed?

· 8-10 years of experience in events, including work in VIP hospitality

· Ability to multi task as well as develop positive relationships with a variety of personality types

· Excellent communication skills

· Very detail oriented

· Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a professional manner

· Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks in a timely manner
